Sophia Sleigh, Wandsworth Guardian -- Putney’s Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability has re-opened the therapy computer room destroyed in a fire.

The service lost more than £100,000 of specialist computer equipment to the fire earlier this year. The room provides vital rehabilitation therapy to people recovering from brain injuries.

Councillor Stuart Thom, mayor of Wandsworth, officially opened the centre, and said: "My colleagues and I have seen some of the fantastic work that is undertaken generally at the RHN and this really is a vital part of that."

The RHN needs to raise more than £2.5m-a-year to fund all of the vital services for people living with and recovering from brain injury. For more information, visit
