The RSPCA has proposed shutting its animal hospital in Putney because of a shortage of funds. Three of its clinics, Ealing & Hanwell, Kilburn and Camberwell, are also under threat. The charity has said it is struggling to raise the money to keep them open because of increasing demand for its services and a reduction in donations from people who leave money in their wills. South West Trains - Putney - Access for all
Following further technical issues which are being worked on, we are hopeful the lifts at the station will enter service during early November.
 
The South West Trains-Network Rail Alliance will be undertaking a £7 million programme of track maintenance work in the Wimbledon area. Our engineering teams will be replacing 12 sets of points (used to cross trains between different lines) positioned to the West of Wimbledon Station.
